ESL Program
Degree-Bound ESL Programs
The standard program for degree-bound students aims to prepare college-bound students for their mainstream English classes. The courses in the program comprise of Content-based ESL which covers all of the main areas of ESL, such as, Listening and Speaking, Reading and Writing and Specialized ESL which further hones the students’ acquired skills in their content-based ESL class. Content-based classes are scheduled in the morning and specialized classes in the afternoon. All degree-bound students are required to take both courses in a span of 3-6 months. It is ideal that the students complete the 6-month program for them to be fully equipped with the necessary skills they need to excel in their academic performance in college.
