Intermediate Coding and Programming for Kids

Kids will learn programming through different creative projects where they make games, animations, and tell stories on the computer. The classes will use two tools developed in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to teach programming to kids: Scratch and App Inventor.

The intermediate level coding program aims to explore more of the computational creation of students, as well as programming concepts in iteration, testing and debugging. At the end of the course, students are expected to create and identify basic game mechanics.
