This course will introduce participants to the Design Thinking process and illustrate best practices for each step along the way. This skill is crucial for any tool in any field: from Engineering to Entrepreneurship and beyond. It’s definitely necessary to the world of software development which centers its practice around design thinking.
Introduction to Python: Absolute Beginner
This course is an introduction to Python and text-based programming. It shows participants the basics of Python layers and concepts and gives them ample practice hours using Jupyter Notebooks on Azure. After participants explore data types and variables, they are then introduced to strings, input testing, and formatting. The class will require them to create programs which prompt conditionals and request further input.
Introduction to Python: Fundamentals
This course focuses on Python data structures, working with string, list, and range sequences. Participants will discover the power of list iteration and from there, get the details on file input and output—open files, read them, add to them, close them, and more. At the end of the course, they will be able to slice strings into substrings, create lists, iterate through them, import files, and use file append mode, along with a lot of other practical Python tasks, as they get started coding.
