Fall in love with the depth and limitless possibilities of photography! This guided three-part photography short course focuses on the importance of portraiture and lighting in capturing different emotions and styles of photography. Students will be mentored by Joey Alvero himself and explore working with natural light, photography for studio lighting with an emphasis on fashion, and manipulating light for more conceptual photographs. At the end of the course, students will be able to display their best work in a special culmination night exhibit.
About Joey Alvero
Joey Alvero is the driving force behind Joey Alvero Photography. After dabbling in fashion, events, and documentary photography, he’s found his focus in portraits and lighting. Joey’s work has been exhibited in numerous galleries including The Outerspace Gallery, West Gallery PH, and the Metropolitan Museum of Manila. His photographs have appeared in Esquire, the Philippine Star, Fader, Perro Verde, Italian Vogue, and National Geographic, among others.
